My mood board for my magazine and the website accompanying it contains magazine covers and contents in which inspire me/ I am basing my own on. The Entertainment Weekly magazine covers in which contain Avengers film stars in costume staring into the eyes of the reader inspired my second magazine cover, in which I have used a black background so the photograph and bright sell lines stand out on the page. The male model on my cover is using direct address also and a close up angle is used in the photograph, his body is drawn round similarly to the EWeekly covers as to create a variation to the first issue cover in which there is a bright outdoors background to the photo.
My photograph settings inspiration are on the mood board also, bricks, white painted walls, a street or city images. I have also included an Entertainment Magazine with a female model, with striking ginger hair and evident makeup, this is in a woodland setting similarly to my first issue cover plan. The heads of the models on the covers overlap some sections of the magazine masthead/title, this will inspire me to do this also when creating my covers using Adobe Fireworks.
The Vogue Magazine inspired me, although it is not a magazine in the genre I am creating, due to the position of the model in the photo. She is slightly to the side of the picture and not in the centre, this allows me to consider different positions on the cover of the models in the photo. I have also including a plain white tshirt and a gold necklace in which is the plan of the outfit for one of my contents pages. I have included a polka dot white on black image, this is similar to the background I am using on my Wonder Magazine website as to make it unusual and unique, appealing to the younger generation. The Entertainment Magazine contents page on my mood board is the inspiration layout for my second magazine contents page. Seperating the page into sections in which the magazine contains, features, departments and reviews. This gives a tidy look to my contents page. All of these image will play a part in my magazine and website creation as inspiration and to give me ideas.
